360 Monment
London 14.08.2009 - Bono "I think something very special could happen tonight... " and then it did as Wembley roared - I STILL HAVENT FOUND.... it still makes my spine tingle - an awesome event - concert, space ship and lighting.

Best Moment
At Wembley 14 August when 90,000 people sang I Still Haven't Found, that was when the tears flowed and I truly believed I was actually at a U2 concert. Feeling that many people as 'One' was something that will stay with me forever.

Best moment in Barcelona
I was in the first show of the tour in Barcelona, and i have a lot of great moments of this show: the intro of the show with the never before listened Kingdom, after with Breathe, the surprising version of Crazy, The Unforgettable Fire and the screens going down... but my favourite moment was Ultraviolet and his awesome putting in scene!!

Goosebumps!
When Larry comes walking out and the place goes crazy! Then the opening drums just puts you over the edge! I was screaming and crying. My kids were so happy for me!

your 360° Moment
To me it is absolutely clear that the one moment
is the opening song' Breathe' , the entry of Larry
Mullen Jr. alone, the clockface showed on the
big screen ,the first beats of the drum parts,
Edge and Adam' entries and Bono which jumps
on the stage and starts singing.
Amazing!

A song about love and abandonment
My best moment on 360° was One in Amsterdam 2 with Bono's introducing speach.
Other great moments were Bad and Until in Amsterdam, Electrical Storm in Barcelona and Stay in Cardiff.

Best Moments
My favourite moments were the audience singing I Still Havent Found What Im Looking For. Good singing voices. My other favourite moment occurred when Bono ran around the cat walk with the little girl in Vancouver BC singing City of Blinding Lights. I know she will always remember that.

It got a little dusty!
This will be long-winded. My moment was at the Rose Bowl when they brought out the disco ball for Ultraviolet. It quickly took me back to the 4/12/92 Zoo TV show in LA when they were showcasing Achtung Baby and began the show with 8 straight Achtung songs and Bono came out as the Mirrorball man for the encore and later sang Ultraviolet. At the time, Achtung was such a change of pace for them, nobody knew where it was gonna take them, they were put off in the papers about that setlist and not playing anything older than the Unforgettable Fire album, and nearly 20 years later, look where they are!!! So for a grown man like myself, it got a little dusty right there when they took me back to the Zoo and played Ultraviolet.

Bono...right next to me!
As a first time INNER CIRCLE fan, I'll never forget Bono walking up the bridge as it was moving right towards me....and when it stopped.....He sat down at the end and I just stared at his lovely face while he sang! I'll never forget it as long as I live! When he sings, he sings each and every song from the heart and for the first time, I saw it up close!

Chicago
everyone singing I still haven't found was very cool, the way they used the stage/screen to coordinate the mood changes that go with the songs was just awesome. They way they kicked off the set with Breath was so energetic too, can't wait to see them again in 2010!!!

My 360 Moments
First impression : The ola going round the Olympiastadion in Berlin before even the first notes of Space Oddity. Bono going "Here Comes The Sun" after "Beautiful Day" and the sun making an apparition between the clouds just at THAT moment. Then, later that night in Berlin, the stadium literally shutting Bono up on "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". The Czech performing Angel of Harlem with Adam enjoying every minute of it. Stay Far Away So Close... Mysterious Ways with all arms going left and right.. Then Gelsenkirchen, where the crowd pushed Bono for a last a capella chorus of Elevation. The Edge's guitar incident on Vertigo. Stuck in a Moment which brought tears fo joy in my eyes.
Those were my moments. I'd like to have more.

Stunning. Striking. Fantastic!
UltraViolet being back in the set is great. The LED jacket and light up wheel mic... all great stagecraft that go with a great song.
Other moment?
The return of The Unforgettable Fire. Great song. Album version is great but like most U2 songs, far better live.
That said, it isn't all about the older songs. Breathe, Magnificent, Moment of Surrender... all very stunning. But Unknown Caller... that is the one for me, from the new batch of tunes. LOVE LOVE LOVE that song. And it's great to hear a stadium chant along to Unknown Caller too!

moment ill never forget
U2 is obviously my favorite band in the world and ill never forget the moment the lights went off and the smoke began to come out of the stage. It was the most epic moment i've ever had, i was completely dwarfed by the amazing stage as well as the outstanding energy from the band. I felt like together the band and the audience would tear the walls of the stadium down in sheer energy

BAD in Dublin
The best moment for me - hands down - was BAD at Dublin 3. Tears through the whole song. UV, Stay, UF and Unknown Caller also awesome. Then End of World and Mysterious Ways in Houston rocked!
|
Cam U2 - 09 November, 2009
360 Moment
Favorite moment, would have to be the tail end of I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight, where they would rock out and sing Two Tribes. Then the end where Larry pounds on the drums and they do the transition into Sunday Bloody Sunday. Magnificent!!!

Cardiff singalong
To define one perfect moment is impossible where u2 is concerned, but for me it has to be when 75,000 voices (plus 4 more!) sang 'I still hav'nt found what i'm looking for' at the top of our lungs. Wonderfull life affirming moment. I wish I could thank the band in person for helping to shape my political conscience, for giving us such great music and being the proof that we are more than just crude matter, that we each are the colours that will bleed into one.
